Finance Process Excellence Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated Finance Process Excellence Analyst to join our team and support the administration and enhancement of internal financial systems and processes.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments within Corporate Finance, including Shared Services, Controllers, and other Centers of Excellence, while contributing to process improvement initiatives. The position reports directly to the Manager, Finance Process Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the administration and support of internal financial applications to ensure smooth operational functionality
• Address and respond to requests from Finance users, ensuring internal application workflows, approvers, and thresholds align with business needs
• Enable seamless monthly accounting closures by ensuring Finance teams have timely access to systems for task execution, reviews, and approvals
• Monitor critical financial control task completions, including those tied to compliance key controls
• Act as the primary contact for Finance users experiencing issues in internal applications and cooperate with technology teams or senior colleagues for prompt resolutions
• Assist Finance users with training and provide guidance on the effective use of financial applications
• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and demo materials to enhance understanding across the team
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and stakeholders to analyze business processes, propose improvements, and drive automation aligning with company objectives
• Partner with IT development teams during the software development lifecycle to coordinate requirements, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and track project statuses

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or an IT-related field with relevant practical experience in areas such as ERP administration or SDLC of financial systems
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level, both written and verbal
• 1-2 years of experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), task management tools, or financial applications
• High attention to detail with the ability to execute routine tasks independently and ensure accountability for task outcomes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interface effectively across multiple levels of the organization and diverse stakeholders

Nice to have

• Knowledge of international accounting standards such as IFRS and US GAAP
• Understanding of financial compliance, risk management, internal controls, and audit principles
• Background in software development lifecycle processes, including requirements gathering, UAT coordination, and other associated aspects
