The Chief Client Officer is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the account management and sales teams within our North America business. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic and analytical thinking, and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and legal solutions landscape in the UK and Ireland. The Chief Client Officer will drive revenue growth, enhance client relationships, and ensure exceptional client service delivery while also focusing on profitability and financial management.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in leading large businesses and driving successful integrations in a fast paced and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management: Develop a Target Operating Model to support both growth and account management. Provide visionary & strategic leadership to the client account management and sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture, and motivating team members to achieve their goals. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to maximize individual and team performance. Foster collaboration and cross-functional cooperation with other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.
Account Management: Oversee and manage key client accounts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Develop strategic account plans to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities, including increased panel share and increased price. Work closely with the account management team to identify clients' needs, provide solutions, and ensure client expectations are met.
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive profitable revenue growth, aligned with the organization's business objectives. Lead the sales team in prospecting, acquiring, and onboarding new clients, as well as identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities to enhance market share. Agree growth and price targets with CEO UK&I and implement strategies to achieve them.
Client Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional client service delivery throughout the organisation, setting exacting standards and fostering a client-centric mindset. Develop and implement processes and systems to measure and improve client satisfaction levels. Act as a key point of escalation for client issues, effectively resolving concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.
Financial Management: Drive revenue growth and profitability in alignment with organizational goals. Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. Implement strategies to support the business achieve EBITDA growth. Analyze financial data, market trends, and key performance indicators to make informed business decisions.
Skills, knowledge & expertise
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, risk management, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably within the insurance services and legal solutions industry.
- Strong understanding of the US insurance market and legal landscape.
- Experience managing financial aspects of a business, including revenue generation, profitability, and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and drive business outcomes.
