headquartered in Germany is a leading Full Service Payment Provider operating across three continents.

We are seeking a
User Experience (UX) Specialist

to shape the experience of our next-generation payment and merchant platforms.

You will be responsible for deeply understanding user needs, simplifying complex payment workflows, and translating insights into structured, user-centered design solutions.

The ideal candidate is not a visual designer but a
strategic thinker and problem solver

who combines research, usability, and design systems thinking to improve the overall customer journey across our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct
  user research, journey mapping, and persona development

to understand merchant, partner, and internal user needs.
- Define
information architecture (IA)

,
navigation flows

, and
interaction logic

for web and platform interfaces.
- Develop
wireframes, prototypes, and user flows

to communicate design intent.
- Collaborate closely with
Product, Engineering, Compliance, and UI Design

teams to ensure functional alignment.
- Lead or support
usability testing and accessibility validation

across devices.
- Establish UX standards, heuristics, and
semantic design principles

to ensure that flows, labels, and structures are meaningful and intuitive for both users and developers.
- Contribute to
continuous improvement of the merchant onboarding, reporting, and support experiences

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in
  UX Design, Information Architecture, or Interaction Design

.
- Strong ability to turn business and technical complexity into
simple and intuitive experiences

.
- Familiarity with
usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG)

, and
data-driven design

.
- Proficiency in
Figma

,
Miro

, or equivalent tools for wireframing and prototyping.
- Fluency in English

, both spoken and written.
- Experience working in
fintech, payments, or regulated industries

is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
